The Kelong Seafood Restaurant

Kuilong is the most famous seafood restaurant in Bintan Island. It attracts tourists because of its small pavilion that stretches out into the sea. The black pepper crab is delicious, as well as the snail and eggplant. I was very satisfied with the dishes I ordered.

This Kuilong restaurant is located inside the Nirwana Hotel, so you can imagine how expensive it is. It is more than twice as expensive as the Kuilong restaurant outside! The seafood is fresh, but the chef's cooking is perfunctory and the taste is not heartfelt. The lights in the water house are dim at night, but there is a lot of atmosphere.

The taste is OK, the price is expensive, but it is worth it! The landscape is indeed scarce, the price is 20% more expensive than the restaurant in the mangrove forest on the island, and it is acceptable. If you have the opportunity, it is recommended to come at dusk.
